Art by the Barn 2026

Art by the Barn runs from 10am-3pm Monday-Friday, each day having a different theme. Participants will have the opportunity to explore several different artistic mediums, learn from local professional artists, express themselves honestly and freely, and give back to the community. The week ends with an artists reception and an opportunity to sell art to area businesses and community members.

Examples of possible themes: Art as Gifts, All Things Paint, Garden Art, and Functional Art just to list few
Example Daily Schedule
9:45 - 10:00 - Arrival
10:00 - 10:30 - Ice breaker with a snack.
10:30- 11:00 - Our Guest Artist demonstrates the project we will be working on this morning.
11:00 - 12:00 - Small groups work to create art.
12:15- 12:30 - Clean-up and prepare for lunch
12:30 - 1:30 - Lunch = Bring your own lunch
1:30 - 2:00 - Time for any finishing touches to our art
2:00 - 2:50 - Social time, summer fun games, music therapy on specific days
2:50 - 3:00 - Clean up, pack up, and head home.
